Parents: If you would like to create a Family Account, please register yourself first and then register your children under your account.

Child Care Centers and Groups: to create a group account, please click register and choose the option "I am a teacher registering my class/group".

For children and teens

It’s simple: Earn points and collect badges for doing all kinds of activities, like reading, playing games, going to library events and experiencing things in your community.

Earn one point for every minute you add to your reading log. Once you hit 720 points, you earn a certificate and a free book! For each additional 720 points, earn another free book. Each child and teen who logs 720 points will be entered into a prize drawing.

For adults

Read 8 Books, from the adult collection, to complete the program. Juvenile and Young Adult books cannot be used to complete the challenge. For each book read you earn a ticket into the BIG Adult Summer Reading Raffle! The prize is a $100.00 gift card to Home Depot!

Come to the library, Monday, July 31st to Friday, August 4th, to receive your free reading incentive for completing the program (all 8 books). The BIG Adult Summer Reading Raffle will be held Friday, August 4th!

Put reading first, with 20 minutes a day spent reading or being read to this summer:

  1. Sign up the whole family for the summer reading program. (sign up to track your reading online).
  2. Visit the library again and again this summer. Ask your librarian for suggestions of great books to read yourself or to your young child. Once you register you will also have access to exciting, age appropriate reading lists made available by our librarians.
  3. Set a goal of reading 20 minutes every day. For very young children and struggling readers, that can be spread out through the day. Use the online games and track your reading to unlock cool new game levels, activities and more!
  4. Make reading fun all summer long!
